General Information
The GCRC Nursing Staff is comprised of
expert practitioners from various
areas of nursing practice. Their backgrounds in
general medical-surgical,
intensive care, burn care, drug research,
geriatrics, cardiology, and oncology
serve as a foundation for implementation of quality
clinical research protocols.
Staff are certified in either Basic or Advanced
Cardiac Life Support. Each
GCRC protocol is assigned a Nurse coordinator who
is responsible for moving
the study from "paper to practice." This nurse develops

participant scheduling according
to the study target dates and Investigator preference.
