General Information

The GCRC Nursing Staff is comprised of expert practitioners from various areas of nursing practice. Their backgrounds in general medical-surgical, intensive care, burn care, drug research, geriatrics, cardiology, and oncology serve as a foundation for implementation of quality clinical research protocols. Staff are certified in either Basic or Advanced Cardiac Life Support. Each GCRC protocol is assigned a Nurse coordinator who is responsible for moving the study from "paper to practice." This nurse develops the necessary study forms, plans for staff education and projects participant scheduling according to the study target dates and Investigator preference.
